How a 2,000-hp semi truck races up a mountain

"Late last month, we offered a preview of the Gale Banks-designed Super-Turbo Freightliner, a 2,000-hp beast of a semi designed to take driver Mike Ryan up Pikes Peak at maximum speed. It took a couple of weeks, but Ryan and his team have since released this video of their exploits on the mountain with the Super-Turbo (actually a combination of turbo, supercharger and methane injection) at full, glorious wail. If you've never seen a semi power slide through a curve overlooking a mountainside, now's as good a time as any."
